Well everyone, it is February 1st and winter is still good and strong.   I'm sitting in front of the fireplace a lot this winter, and just waiting for the warm weather to arrive.   It can't come too soon for me.   I figure about the middle of March or so I'll start going up to the resort to get things ready for the coming season.  Rod and Deedee stayed the whole winter and watched the snow fall.   God bless em.   I'm already bored to the max, and I've still got at least 6 more weeks till I can start showing up.   The good thing is we haven't got much snow this year so we won't have any flooding issues to deal with.  We need enough snow melt to increase the flow of the river, so the Walleye run is good and strong.     Last year we fixed the water lines and electric, so getting back on line should be a lot easier.  Joe and Rod are the masters at that, so we'll see.  We also added three news sites to the rear row.  Only 6 more and we'll be full.   That will be excellent.  The more the merrier.   We're still a very small family with only 50 sites, but this will be the first time since I've owned the resort it's full.    Well, I'll keep in touch, so call if you need anything    THANX,    DON
