Well campers, it is the middle of January and the temp is in the upper 40's.   There is no snow and the lakes are just barely frozen.   Does it get any better than this.  Even though the ice fishermen are getting screwed the rest of us are loving life.  Believe it or not we've added another resident on New Years eve day.  We  welcome Paul and Karen Witt to our family.   That is as late as you can get in the year.   But now we're down to only 2 open sites, so for that we are happy.  

Rod and I have been poking around getting things done.  I am working on the Park Model trailer hoping to at least have most of it done before the season starts.  Speaking of Park Models, we're sorry to see Keith and Laurie Taflinger are selling their Park Model.  It is in excellent shape and lets be real, they have the best site in the park, so it shouldn't be listed long.  So if you know anybody interested in upgrading, call me.

So, some quick facts,   the ice fishing on the lake has been excellent with lots of Walleye and Northern.   Big blue gill and Crappie have been caught in the canal mouths.  .    We haven't done a thing to the bait store, even though I wanted to, and thats about it.   Remember only 7 weeks till spring.     Thanx,    Dom
